Therefore,make yourself lowly and Hashem will raise you up.

"His servant, Yehoshua, son of Nun, a young man, did not leave the tent." (Shemos 3 3:11)

The Midrash explains that after everyone left the Bais Medrash, Yehoshua stayed behind to straighten it up. Because he was not too proud to do the job that needed to be done, he gave honor to Hashem. It was because of this, that Hashem honored him. The only honor that is worth anything, is the honor that comes from doing what Hashem wants, no matter how low that job may seem . click on image to get a printable copy
