Know that Hashem will judge you for your actions

" In front of whom will you have to explain why you acted that way ..." What else should we think about to become humble? A person should picture in his mind, that someday he is going to have to stand in front of a mighty king and be judged for everything he did in his lifetime. Imagine how scary this will be ?!

He will try so hard to make the king like him! How much more should he fear, when he realizes that he will have to explain to the greatest King of Kings! Not only that, but this King knows every single thing that he has ever done !!! Shouldn't a person make it his business to become better? Thoughts like these, help a person realize who he is and what humility means.
