THE GUEST'S BLESSING
This group of "Horachamons" was written by our greatRabbis for the guest to bless his host. Since we are going tomake a "brocha" on wine at the end of Birkas Hamozohn,we might think that these "Horachamans" are aninterrruption between the last "brocha" of"bentching" and the "kohs shel brocha".However, since it was included in "bentching" for theguest to bless his host, it is not considered an interruption.(Avudraham) "A person should first praise Hashem and thenpray for the things he needs." (Brochos 32B) Therefore, thefirst three "Horachamons" are praises of Hashem.
1) "Horachamon hu yimlohch olaynu l'ohlom vo-ed" - (Maythe Merciful One rule over us forever and ever.)
"Hashem will rule forever." (Sh'mos l5:l8) When Hashemmakes His final return to Eretz Yisroel, He will rule over allthe kingdoms of the world. (Rashbam)
