"lishbos boh" - (to rest on it)
"You may do work on six days of the week, but the seventhday is a Shabbos of complete rest". (Sh'mohs 31:l5) Rashiexplains that "rest" in the Torah means not only restfrom physical work, but also rest from thinking about the worriesof the week.

Six days of the week a person should do all his work at home andin the field, and on the seventh day he should rest.
This is so that a person's animals and servants should also stopworking on the seventh day which is Shabbos. When a person holdshimself back from working on this holy day, he is saying toeveryone that Hashem created the world. (Ramban)
