THE SEPARATION AND DEPARTURE OF THE SHABBOS

As we made Kiddush to welcome Shabbos, we make Havdalah to say goodbye and begin the work week. Besides wine, we take a candle to thank Hashem for creating fire at the end of the first Shabbos. We also smell spices to make us less sad over losing the special Shabbos spirit.
