Getting angry leads to Gehinnom.
"Our Rabbis have also taught us that : 'All the punishments of Gehenim will rule over
people who get angry '!" - If a person does a sin (G-d forbid), He brings a spirit of "tuma"
(spiritual impurity) onto himself. We know that "one sin leads to another". - The awful
"tuma" which follows, will cause him to do more sins. This is the Gehenim that he will
sink into, through the many sins that he does. If it is that bad with other sins, imagine
what it is like with anger, which is the root of many sins ! He will create a horrible
Gehenim that will surround him and overpower him on all sides.
