"k'firim roshu v'ro-ayvu v'dohr'shay Hashem loh yachs'ruchol tohv" - (Young lions may suffer hunger, but those who look to Hashem will not lack any good thing.) [T'hilim 34:ll]
Hashem provides food for all creatures, from the tiniest to the strongest of animals. It does not matter how strong an animal is.Even the mightiest lion which is a terrific hunter, can go hungry. We depend on Hashem, alone, to give us our food. When alion is no longer able to hunt, he may starve. But the person who does Hashem's will, does not have to worry. Even when he becomes old and weak, he will have food. Hashem has already prepared it for him. (Malbim)
